It would be quite ludicrous in fact.

I am sure the Greek also have lovely poetry about rain. However, that would be equally ludicrous to carve on the moors.

Does anyone know how many Yorkshiremen can read Inuit? I bet it is less than one.

Carving something on the moors that no-one from the moors can read would seem to be quite pointless.
Good thing I didn't say it should be craved anywhere, just thought the artists might have an interest in Inuit.

As this was specifically a thread about moor cARVing (not craving) I thought it was a reasonable assumption to make.

And no, I don't think the poet would be interested in Inuit poetry. He would be interested in getting his only poems recorded for posterity .... :D
Bah!

Obviously not the person who confused the "artist" with the stone mason. She knows fuck all, but likes telling everyone how little she knows.

Who knows? The poet himself that's who. I'll let you know what he has to say if he replies to my email.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

If he does reply, can you ask him for the words to the poetry that is being carved on the Moors.

I want to see if he has captured the essence.
