The O'Bama Jobs Plan

Post by dgs49 »

(1) Send money to state and local governments, to save the jobs of reliably-Democrat government workers.

(2) Spend money on government transportation projects, which benefit the 20% or so of construction workers who are union members (also reliable Democrat voters).

(3) Continue extended unemployment benefits - which is a historically proven strategy to discourage serious attempts at re-employment.

(4) Continue the payroll tax abatement, which, by the way, constitutes, "fucking with Social Security," something every Democrat in the land has sworn NEVER, EVER, EVER to do!

Not to mention the fact that it is the same ineffective program we have been hearing about since he came into office.

How could this possibly fail to ignite more support for Barry?

And I have issue with number 3....we are in a crisis. to yank the tiny throw rug out from under millions of people in dire straights thru no fault of their own just goes beyond mean-spiritedness.

UC and continuance of, IS one of the things the gubmint should be doing in times a crisis. If unemployment was low and better yet, was not so full of people long term unemployed, I might agree with you. laziness has nothing to do with it when a position opens up and 10000 people apply for it. something is broken and UC aint it.

It must suck to be you, D/M.

I weep for you.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Of course the Republican plan will look something like this:

1. Cut Planned Parenthood funding.

2. Make it harder to get an abortion.

3. Try to get DADT enacted again.

4. Tax cuts for corporations and the rich.

6. Bust the unions.

7. Ban homosexual marriage.

8. MORE tax cuts for corporations and the rich.

After all, 2001-2008 went so well, and ended so happily for everyone in the U.S.....what could be better than more of the same? :loon
