Is it acceptable to compare the US President to Hitler?
Re: Is it acceptable to compare the US President to Hitler?
My favorite country song is the Rose. The words are beautiful. Some will argue it is not a true country song because it was recorded by Singers in several genres of music.
Next in country is Somebody’s Knocking. I don’t know why I like it
It is the same as in Rock music. I like The Night Chicago Died; I don‘t know why I like it either.
I also like Fanfare To The Common Man.
And Rub, if I know anything about an artist’s personal life it is by accident because I have no interest.

Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

Q: What happens if you play a country music record backwards?
A: You sober up, your wife comes back, you get out of prison, and your dog comes back to life.
More country music jokes here, including a long list of hilarious actual country song titles.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

My second wife would not want my first to come back!
I am not currently in prison but I would certainly like my dog back.
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.

He also said that President Obama was the enemy, kinda makes the Hitler comparison much more black and white.quaddriver wrote:'cept hank did not compare obama to hitler (if anything, he did boehner)
he did however point out that those two together would be LIKE hitler and netanyahu. He clearly meant, as rational people note, ideologically apart, yet acting like friends.
No, he just said it was comparable to bestiality.quaddriver wrote:Well in a semi related report, Rick Santorum said gay marriage was NOT like beastiality and it was reported that he said it WAS like it.

I accuse you of lying by virtue of you misrepresenting the truth and ignoring the whole situation that gives context to the quotes that were given.
Hank Williams Jr. did indeed compare President Obama to Hitler and admitted as such. And Rick Santorum did indeed compare homosexuality to bestiality. You, however, for reasons beyond knowing, have chosen to defend these people well beyond the point where rational individuals would have given up.
Here's a hint: Stop being an arrogant asshole and people will stop "attacking" you.

Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot.
It still kinda torqued my jaw that these 2 Yahoos were out playing and yucking it up when so many others don't have much to yuck about.
I didn't get my political views from Stills I don't get them from Jr...

then prove it. quote please. very easy to find. give you 5 minutes.
Re: Is it acceptable to compare the US President to Hitler?
So Santorum put homosexual acts in the same legislative capacity as "adultery, polygamy, child molestation, incest, sodomy, and bestiality," only a fool would not see the inference in that.Santorum described the ability to regulate consensual homosexual acts as comparable to the states' ability to regulate other consensual and non-consensual sexual behavior, such as adultery, polygamy, child molestation, incest, sodomy, and bestiality, whose decriminalization he believed would threaten society and the family, as they are not monogamous and heterosexual.

Should I be surprised that the quote you just gave as to what santorum said, is actually not what he said but rather a directed editorialization?Gob wrote:So Santorum put homosexual acts in the same legislative capacity as "adultery, polygamy, child molestation, incest, sodomy, and bestiality," only a fool would not see the inference in that.Santorum described the ability to regulate consensual homosexual acts as comparable to the states' ability to regulate other consensual and non-consensual sexual behavior, such as adultery, polygamy, child molestation, incest, sodomy, and bestiality, whose decriminalization he believed would threaten society and the family, as they are not monogamous and heterosexual.

Thanks Quaddie!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Oh come on, a man can dream he has the intelligence and likeability of a big dog, let Quaddy dream on.

In other words you found my post in response to Sue with the exact quote and you realize yourself the ass and THAT is the best you can come up with?

His exact words are still comparing homosexuality to bestiality and other obscene acts. Stop trying to defend this guy, it only makes you look more and more foolish. Learn to pick your battles instead of attacking everyone over everything and then crying because people are "mean" to you by bringing up the real facts.quaddriver wrote:Should I be surprised that the quote you just gave as to what santorum said, is actually not what he said but rather a directed editorialization?

You're not a "big dog", you're not even of the canine persuasion. You're a rat, gnawing away in the darkness.

Nope, not looked for it. Why should I when there's enough of your stupidity displayed here. You may dig it out if you wish.quaddriver wrote:In other words you found my post in response to Sue with the exact quote and you realize yourself the ass and THAT is the best you can come up with?

Re: Is it acceptable to compare the US President to Hitler?
Newsflash:
Grim Reaper has stated that if you say "6 is not equal to 5" then you have indeed asserted that 6 is equal to 5.
With his new math, finally we might get a straight answer for Pi......
(Ps: I note with no surprise that Grim Reaper STILL has not posted the exact words, but instead told us with his authority what they mean. Has it ever occured to you that your level of "comfort" attained in this world might not exactly be an accident? just sayin)

Newsflash: Quaddriver continues to chicken out of finding a simple quote that he says takes five minutes to obtain.quaddriver wrote:Grim Reaper has stated that if you say "6 is not equal to 5" then you have indeed asserted that 6 is equal to 5.
I've seen the quote, I'm using it as the basis for my argument. You're the one crying like a little baby because your perception of reality doesn't mesh with what actually happened. Mr. Santorum compared homosexuality to bestiality. Your cowardice only further proves that you have nothing to back up your argument that I'm wrong. Continue running around and screeching if it makes you feel better.
You're the one making a claim about what Mr. Santorum said. You're the one who has to back up your claim.

Here's an idea: Act like an adult for once and post the quote you keep claiming to have that apparently nobody else has seen. Stop chickening out with these shitty "quotes" and actually reply with something substantive for once.
