So I haven't updated in a while.

Deck is done

Deck chairs didn't need much touching up so those are done

Deck tables are new so they needed to be stained to match the chairs. Weather hasn't been agreeing with me so those are only almost done. Hopefully I'll finish those this weekend.

Of course now there is a new project which shall now be named Operation Baby Room.

This is a bigger problem than it sounds be cause not only do we have to make our second bedroom into a baby room (now a mini living room) but we also have to come to an agreement on what stays and what goes.

So far this has resulted in the entire house becoming a complete mess. It really is amazing how much crap can be hidden in one room, especially in a computer desk. Yeah so all that shit is now everywhere. Monday I wrangled a friend to come over with a pick up truck to take a bookshelf (another amazing spot to hide crap) and a coffee table over to my moms. wouldn't have been too bad except that they decided to start construction on a vital intersection between pt. A and pt. B. 30 minutes to drive one mile. Yesterday I mostly just stained the furniture.

Today. Ugh today. Stained furniture. In between coat 1 and 2 I moved the old old computer (PowerMac G3) into the second bedroom from the master bedroom. Moved my wife's dresser where that was.

Between coats 2 and 3 I napped so sue me.

After coat 3 I started to take apart the computer desk in the second bedroom Disassembled the drawers and the hutch while keeping the old computer (G5) operational. THen took off extraneous computer accessories (speakers) and then pulled the desk off the wall. Unscrewed the wall plate for the network took my dads handy drywall saw and poked a hole into the master bedroom. Went to the other side where I measured and cut the hole into low voltage outlet size.

Then I figured I'd done enough took a shower and updated you all.

I'd be drinking right now if I wasn't out and too tired to go get some.

What, isn't the wife supposed to be 'nesting'? Or, do you have a contact pregnancy?

I know the sad thing is with the move to wireless having a in wall pre-wired network won't be much of a selling point I thought it would be 5 years ago.

But then again I started it so I may as well keep it up.

Yup You have passed the point. Stop now. Give up the dusty work for a week. Concentrate on shite that doesn't produce the dust til you get over it and get some face masks.

In the mean time, have a brew.
