Are you going to find out baby's sex, or will you be leaving it as a lovely surprise at the end?
Bah!

I like that I can change the title at time goes on :D

Well we told My Mom and Dad tonight. It was fun watching my mom do the triple take on the card we got her to break the news.

first in confusion

Second to confirm what she thought it said

Third to be sure she wasn't wrong the first two times. :D

I love the fact that you told the board before you told your parents...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

WE wanted to wait until we knew everything was going good before we told them. However, I had to tell someone and I knew it would be very unlikely that it would get back to them since very few of you know my real name and none of you are local.

"I had to tell someone", and you chose us, we should be flattered, thanks.

My first wife was sick from the day she concieved until the day she delivered. Good luck and congrats. Contrary to what some say having kids is a great experience. Just remember one thing. Try to instill a sense of humor in them it will make them much more interesting to deal with as well as they will be much happier. ;)

Wholeheartedly agree with Miles.

I worked on the Hatch's comedy muscle from a very young age. Mainly to keep my sanity.

She was an avid watcher of Dad's Army when she was 3 which sure as shit beat Rainbow-Brite hands down as far as I was concerned.

Crackpot another thing don't be afraid to mess with the kids mind a bit. It's really fun. Both my sets of kids, oldest 40 and 38, youngest 20 and 17, were convinced that color was not invented until I was 12 years old. I showed them pictures of my youth that were, of course, black and white. When they got to the ones after 12 they were in color and I told them thats when color was invented. :D

Congrats, Crackpot!

TheKid is now 16, already reviewing colleges, chomping at the bit to get behind the wheel (I'm mean, no license until grades are acceptable), and is overall a great almost-adult. I look at her and wonder where my little pigtailed brat went. Time moves way to fast once you have a baby.
Where am I, and why am I holding a handbasket?

Holy Smokes! I am just seeing this. CONGRATULATIONS! My best to you and the Mrs. :ok

My mom has no sense of humor. I often wonder how I developed one.

The Hatch and I enjoy a shared sense of humour. Many has been the time we have been reduced to tears, rolling on the ground in as if a silent parody of laughter.

Miles, I love the colour story. Brilliant!
