I noticed his name was Alain or something and thought it strange.

Why isn't there a neutral ref for these things?
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

He was actually Irish, the team Wales beat the previous week. Although his father was French. :loon :loon :loon

This pretty much sums up how I feel ...

Image

Rolland *spit* has a long history of having little or no empathy for the game of rugby and more than once has shown bias against Welsh clubs, he went for that red card so fast that he could not have even paused to consider anything but a red, he had many many options open to him, consult the touch judges, ask to see a video replay, use a yellow and refer to the citing panel, or like all of his fellow refs throughout the tournement not penalise at all! Instead he went directly to red, thats what has us enraged. Moreover that red card has not just robbed us of a final place, it will impact upon Welsh rugby for the next 4 years and could affect our NEXT world cup in 2015 - all of which as a senior international refereee Rolland KNEW and yet he made the decision in a split second THAT is why we are so angry and upset and why even the Welsh first minister came out and said the competition has been utterly devalued now, my twitter page went into meltdown within seconds of the card, professional rugby players of every nationality were united in their condemnation of the ref.

In just over 2 hours time Wales will finish either 3rd or 4th in the RWC - a few months ago I'd have been delighted with the thought we'd have done so well instead I feel sick & subdued and worried about the impact upon the team, so much so that I barely want to watch it .... thanks Rolland *spit*

I've got an idea R-B.

Let's not enter the world cup again, not until we have a kicker worthy of cleaning Neil Jenkin's boots.

We should have been in the final, missed kicks lost it. We should have won then bronze, our kicks went wide....

We do have a kicker - Rhys Priestland unfortunately he got injured in the semi final :( we also have Leigh Halfpenny and why they don't use him for shorter distances than the halfway line gawd only knows, and of course we have Gavin :ok it was disappointing that England nobbled him back in August but he was most definately back on form and would have made a significant difference had he been fit to play.

Speaking of Gav.... thats the only thing this week to have cheered me up Gavin Henson signed for Cardiff Blues!! :D

Ah well, RWC over, but it's the start of the cricket season!

So much for the moderately entertaining...

On with the deadly dull!
