Yes and Yes Guin.

If you watched the UK version of Life on Mars then you're in for a treat.

If you look very, very carefully, you will note that the blonde Holmes is also wearing his infamous socks and sandals combo ....

His t-shirt does proclaim some slogan about "pretending to give a shit.". That has to count for something.

As I say, I am nothing if not accurate to the canon.
"Quickly Holmes, the game's afoot!" claimed Watson, staring out of the window of 221b, the fervour of the hunt clearly expressed on his brow. "One moment Watson, if you please" Holmes stated languidly from his chair, "Do I at least have time to slip my socks and sandals on? Pass me my "let's pretend I give a shit and leave it at that," t-shirt, there's a good fellow..."

From "The Scandal of the Shabbily Dressed Man."
A.C Doyle.

And thank goodness the socks are dark, not white, with the dark Keens.

How about some real shoes Gob? Or if nothing else, some nice trail runners or hiking boots. Anything solid, without visible venting

A recent and fetching pair of oxbloods for his shabbiness. :D

Right nice they look as well. (Though truth be told I'm more a ten eyelet girl myself.)

Jim, Jim, Jim, Jimmy, Jim!!!

Look out for the latest "Irene Adler" in Sherlock (seies 2), she's recast as a dominatrix with a hold over a female member of the British Royal family. (Hen and Hatch think it's Princess Eugine, I reckon it's Kate. I've had a good long think about that.) Hot as hell!!!!

Both her and Cummerbatch appear "nude" in that episode. You see nothing, but I wonder if it will be edited for the US?

Lara Pulver, the acress who plays whip-wielding dominatrix Irene Adler in Sherlock has described her role as ''empowering'' and said she chose to get ''completely naked'' to film the controversial scenes.

There were complaints in the UK, I seem to remember, when the episode went out.

Something about it not being appropriate for pre-9:00 pm viewing?

It was aired here on Wednesday at the same time and I haven't heard a word about the nuddy-bits.

:P

Funny, I heard lots of words about Cummerbatch's nuddy bits, mainly "phwoaaar!"

I know, eh,

The Hatch and I DID have to ask you to keep quiet so we could follow the dialogue.
