Is this a racist advert?

Boats on the Hudson.
Paperboys on bikes deliviring papers.
Farmers on tractors.
White clapperboard houses.
Families carrying carpets with "one of each" kids
Couples marrying in churches.
Running up the flag...

Some dopey looking white guy.....

Some dopey looking white guy?

How about virtually nothing but white people? (Some of the quick pass-throughs are hard to determine.)

I think I have it.

Any time a caucasian says something critical of someone who happens not to be caucasian, it is "racist*."

S/he might be criticizing how they conduct their political campaign, how they run their economy, how they view the Constitution - it doesn't matter. If they are not caucasian, the criticism is "racist."

Clearly, if a caucasian politician portrays a Chinese person sarcastically thanking another American politician for, in effect, sending jobs to China, it is "racist."

And if a caucasian politician portrays "Americans" in a positive light and doesn't include a cornucopia of non-caucasian races and ethnicities in the portrayal, that is also "racist."

If a term means anything you want it to mean, then it means nothing at all.

* Jews and Mexicans are special categories. Even though they are mainly caucasian, if you criticize them you are "racist."

Yeah Dave, that's exactly how it is.

Or, maybe, identifying someone as a racist is as easy as checking whether they use terms like "knee grows".

Scoots, why is it that the only time you understand sarcasm is when you use it?

My use of the expression "knee grows" is a reference to the fact that "Negro," a perfectly correct and appropriate term has, for no reason other than mindless political correctness, been deemed unacceptable by our cultural elites.

Just wow!

:o
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
