ThX for trying to resolve this issue in a reasonable fashion, I've always respected your professional conduct online and in business. After years of conversation and correspondence, I have no reason to doubt your ethical standards, and nothing anyone has said or written has been remotely convincing of your behaving otherwise.

ThX for trying to communicate your stance on this issue in a clear, concise fashion, as is befitting you and your legal profession. The lovely Dinner with you, Dales and your wife was many hours of great conversation, and the piano concert was just an added bonus. I recall you didn't make a single dicouarging remark about Lord Jim, and even agreed that a follow up FTF would be nice, with a few other board members, including the aforementioned Lord of Jim.


I hope this disagreement/miscommunication can be resolved satisfactorily for the both of you, or that at least a truce may be called, so that the Spring Supper may go forward with all invited friends in attendance. (Contrary to popular request, I will not be bringing refried tarantulas, served on a bed of locust larva. The spider goddess would be sooooo pissed, if I harmed one of her emissaries ...but, I digress)

If you're referring to me, than yes, your hope is quite unrealistic; you do not possess the ability to drive me out of here.

If, on the other hand, as an "impediment" you are referring to whatever it is about you internally that has caused you to feed your reputation here into a shredder, and made you the odious presence you have become here, than yes, of course there is hope; albeit a slim one.

The first step is to recognize the fact that your predicament here is entirely of your own making. The second step is to try to figure out why you have become the way you have become, and to do what ever you need to, (and get whatever help you require) to try and correct it.

I say the hope is slim because you are clearly in The Marianas Trench of denial about how you have made this bed for yourself; you are light years away from the recognition of your own personal responsibility, and with each successive post you seem to be moving even further away from it....
