POLICE say an American who has claimed successful parachute jumps off the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge broke his legs in a failed attempt off Cape Town's Table Mountain.
Police spokesman Ezra October said on Tuesday the jumper was 35-year-old Jeb Corliss.
Table Mountain National Park spokeswoman Merle Collins told the Cape Times newspaper that Corliss didn't have permission for the attempt and could face charges.

That is one of the most awe inspiring things I've ever seen a human being do.
I saw a special on people using those flying suits in a fjord in Norway which was more spectacular but this is still amazing.
Good for him to try it. But off the chart crazy.
