Tomorrow night, house’s mother Bligh will be a patient at the hospital. I suspect that she will die, but before she does she reveals to house that his father is still alive. He thinks that she is referring to the chaplain but she meant Col. John House. This dawns on him later and causes him additional distress.

How is that for going out on a limb.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

The very definition of The House Band...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

House didn’t air tonight. In the TV Guide, it is scheduled, but instead there is the Daytona 500. It makes me wonder if Murdock took the remark House make about him last week personal. I doubt it, one does not get as rich as he is with a thin skin

House didn’t air for two weeks in a row and then this last Monday there was a rerun. Next week’s episode is the one involving his mother and the same one that was pulled three weeks ago. What do you think is happening? It appears to me that the producers pulled the episode so that it could be reworked. If so, why did they rework it and what could be different in it?

Another show we enjoy, In Plain Sight is also ending...

The actress who stars in it, Mary McCormack, had a kid and understandably she wants to spend more time with her new born...

One of the things I've gotten a kick out of that show with is how similar "Mary Shannon" is to Kelly....

Kelly looks a lot like her, and she's got the same cynical mouthy attitude... :D

The first time I watched the show with Tati, I asked her, "does that lady remind you of anybody?"

And she immediately said, "Mommy!"

Apparently he's a decent writer, too. Just stumbled on this:

It has good reviews.

He has a video of a trip to New Orleans where he performs with Irma Thomas & others. Great little movie to rent.

We quit watching "House" after a while. It wore a little thin what with the implausible medical mysteries and his character stopped being very fun to watch after a while.

Great talent. Loved him in the P.elham G.renville Wodehouse stories. We rent a few episodes now and then.

Not from me it doesn't, I didn't enjoy it at all.

Well House, so far I have been wrong about everything, so only a fool would make any additional predictions, but this is the kind of thing in which being wrong is no big deal. Here I don’t care if I am wrong? We all can be fools here as much as we want and just start all over again.

I believe that all American one-hour cop/medic/whatever drama shows are largely tedious

House, Lie to Me, CSI, Boston/New York/Poughkeepsie Legal, whatever. Implausible, get it done inside an hour no matter how ridiculous, assume the viewers are morons and you can't go wrong kind of TV writing. They make Dixon of Dock Green look deep.

The only one that gets it right is Monk because it tries to be ridiculous.

Same with series - Lost, Carnival, whatever - all hopelessly mired in directionless visuals. Exceptions: Game of Thrones. And the old lamented Firefly

House could easily have fallen into that trap if it wasn't for the pure chemistry of the cast.

Illness of the week took a massive back seat over the scenes between House and Wilson.

Lost was an utter shocker. I normally have love for JJ Abrams work but what a dogs breakfast that show became.
