Sean, to be fair, in my post voting for banning, I specifically pointed out that it's not working to ignore, because of the vitriol she posts and the difficulty for many to successfully ignore.

In my response to Gob, I was feeling tetchy, due to the accusation that I was feeding the troll - as I have successfully ignored her 95% of the time.

I maintain my position, but as I promised Gob, I'll refrain from further comment - I just wanted to reply to you two to clarify my comments and smooth any ruffled feathers. (This kind of discord in the ranks of otherwise friendly community is exactly the worst, largely inevitable result of a troll.)

I wouldn't blame Gob for banning LoCAtek and it certainly wouldn't change my opinion of him if he did.

I just wouldn't base it on the pornography accusation. As tasteless and foolish as it was, I don't see how what LoCAtek wrote can be interpreted that way.

That assertion -- not yours, Hen; the one you are "meant to have made" -- strikes me as bizarre.

A child "loses" her virginity at the age of nine, and she "had suffered from a phobia about dying a virgin for a number of years". So, what, a five- or four- or three-year-old child fears dying a virgin?

The only question remaining now is that of lo's whereabouts. She wanted to chat to Hen with a mediator and now she's got it. Has she changed her mind? Has her bluff been called?

And yes, I know that it has only been just over 24 hours but it is unusual for her not to log in at least once a day when there's drama happening.

Yes, I realize that I can be directed to various threads in which various assertions are made and in which various accusations are hurled.

But the first thing which any competent mediator should -- and in real life would -- insist upon is a clear and reasonably concise statement by each party of what that party considers to be the matter(s) in dispute.

Side A: State your claim and the basis upon which you make it.

Side B: State your claim and the basis upon which you make it.

Give your mediator something to mediate.

The only thread where any assertions have been made was the one Sean directed you concerning the article of child sexual abuse where Lo decided to go off on some kind of tangent and make horrific allegations about my childhood and claim I was lying to deny them, Andrew.

Other that that there is this thread and the "LoCAtek's Attention Thread" thread to read. It isn't that much material.

There are other threads on the Board where she has baited me and got some back in response. I do not believe that those threads have anything to do with this outburst as she has not raised them to this point.

In respect to this issue, I have made no assertions other than I have never posted that I willingly gave away my virginity at nine.
