Oreos? Please, a mere imitator. I always preferred the original chocolate sandwich cookie, which celebrated its centenary four years ago:

The Hydrox was not as sickly sweet as the Oreo, and the "creme" was made with vegetable fat rather than lard. Unfortunately, Keebler killed the brand after they bought Sunshine Bakeries in the mid-90s. Kelloggs then bought Keebler, and brought back the Hydrox (minus the trans fat) for a limited 100th anniversay production run in 2008-2009. Some blessed day we will see the permanent return of the Hydrox.

Hydrox sounds like the name of a tampon.

Yeah, well, that was the era before focus groups and marketing strategy, and quite frankly I think it was the name that ultimately did them in, in terms of market share. From what I've read, when the Hydrox was created, the company executives wanted it to sound modern and scientific, evoking the purity of the ingredients. It's simply not a "fun" name like Oreo. Also, Nabisco spent a whole lot more on advertising over the years. The lesson learned is that marketing beats quality.

I'm familiar with the product, I just wanted to zing Gob! Maybe it didn't come across well. BTW, you can always call me BS, or call me on BS, and thanks for the happy birthday. :ok :nana
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

I was going to say "drain cleaner".
