One could argue that, but I am in the middle of a very unsaisfactory mediation at present so I won't.

Dude. I was just going to post that exact line in my response to retardo in the thread where he pats himself on the back for being a non hatrer, puleeze. Yet brings up the that fact I was once a Seventh Adventist. To what? Bolster his hating on all things Conservative?

The fact is that the misanthropic little bitch could not handle the truth.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Seems to be a lot of that going around lately....

I am invigorated with truth.

If there is one opting you can call me, it is perpetually open and honest.

I hide behind no facade.

Oh good lord, is he making that barkingly mad claim again?

That would be like me patting myself on the back for being a non meat eater...

A fairly mild remark to generate so much group hatred. But irrational hatred justifies itself.

Whatever dude. That does not explain away the fucked up children games that are being dealt by Loca. Whom I used to think was my friend. Evidently any and all people that do not fit into the pathos are expendable. That is the lesson learned here.

You, on the other hand, are on notice. Not that I liked you anyway... I will bend your mind until it breaks... This is some straight up bull Shit. And you need to be ashamed of yourself. Both of you. Tsk Tsk.

The fancy title of this thread does Not excuse the behavior that has ATTEMPTED TO DRAGGED this forum into the dust and make it Nonviable. AND WHERE IS THE GRAPH??? Because without graphs and pictures and arrows; I cannot be sure of what you are trying to convey.

That is some pure BULLSHIT>\ Fuck that@

Tim- I love this Forum and Will fight to protect it! -ster 8-)

And this is what he was responding to:

I just spent a half-hour using Google earth to look at before and after pictures of the areas affected by the Tsunami and earthquake. I used the locations in the photo-essay linked below as starting points but you can scan around the coast. There is a time-scale and with a little patience you can get clear pictures showing the contrast in the landscape pre- and post-. They have done a remarkable job clearing up debris and restoring roads but little has been built. A few large vessels still trapped inland where the waters dropped them.

What lessons should we learn from this? I doubt if there is a settled answer to that yet.

And you'd get about as much joy from that one Dais...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Daisy, I don't understand your extension of time on the mediation thread. loCAtek is actively posting RIGHT NOW; she shouldn't need 24 hours to respond to a yes/no query.

I can't imagine a single person on this board, lo included, who would question your integrity in the process.

Mediation with rube? who wouldn't be involved in that?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

BSG I absolutely understand the other posters POV on this.

However, I promised I would be impartial and given that loCA states she has had personal issues outside of the board I have no option but to give her the benefit of the doubt.

A half day extension is enough to cover the time lost.

I am sure most other mediations not involving Lo would have a chance of being successful.

The feeling of teeth pulling has not left me.

I did in fact several years ago make a "Nixon Goes To China" attempt to bury the hatchet with rube...

His response was...well...bizarre...and completely delusional...(but classic rube...)

He allowed that I was perfectly free to change my behavior any time, but that his behavior was of course, always and everywhere exemplary....

Attempting to reason with rube is like trying to teach a cow how to tap dance...

It is nothing but a prescription for pure frustration... :D

Mediation with rube?.......I'd rather see a naked mud wrestling event between you two at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk under the "Big Dipper"......I'll be your second, Jim :nana

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

That's terrible Dale...(Now I'm going to have nightmares)

Regular readers of this space may recall that several years ago I also offered to meet up with rube at a public house of his choosing for a few pops when we were planning to spend the 4th of July holiday in Santa Cruz... he deigned to not respond to my offer...

We wound up not going because they cancelled the fireworks in Santa Cruz that year due to wild fires, but my invitation still stands...I'll meet rube anywhere any time for an adult beverage...

And I'll pay...

They are always free to behave better, if they can. I will condition my respect based on how they behave. There is a large group here who do like to have someone to hate collectively. The grossly inappropriate response to loca's post here is adequate proof of it; no matter if she behaved badly elsewhere she did not in that post and yet it was interpreted by all completely differently. Some don't join in, or less so, BSG, scooter, sue and Guin (AndyH, GrossDad, and BigRR but they're not here). I won't list those who do you all know who they are.

I see nothing to mediate. My behavior is not perfect, and I have never said it was. But it is my behavior. Generally I don't respond to the crap but sometimes I do in-kind. Somone who added up the crap posts about or to me and my responses would see the latter pile is far smaller. But I don't care enough to prove it. Sometimes I regret responding in-kind. Sometimes not. I don't blame my writings on anyone else.

One of these days I'm going to spend a week in northern CA and when I do, I hope I'll be able to charm both LJ & rubato to a FtF dinner with me. And kristina, Joe Guy, dales . . .
