Happy Pat's Day!
Re: Happy Pat's Day!
I think that you should wish any actual* Irish person a "Happy St Pat's Day" lo. I'm sure they'll leave you in no doubt as to how insulting that is to them...
*actually Irish as opposed to somebody who has Irish ancestry.

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: Happy Pat's Day!
LOL Kinda like Cinco de Mayo is to an actual Mexican?
This is America: My American-Irish roommate and I traded tales on how San Ho' would handle rowdy, drunken Irish and/or Mexicans since both fall on a Saturday this year.
In the US, we celebrate US holidays. What, is that not secular enough for ya?

Re: Happy Pat's Day!
What are you blathering on about secularism for?
Let me make it easier for you:
Terms which are acceptable to the Irish:
St Patrick's Day
St Paddy's Day
Terms which an Irish person might well punch you in the throat for:
St Pat's Day
Get it now?
