Let me congratulate you on your decision to jettison your Bette Midler with an avocado mask avatar...

(That one was truly frightening...It made me feel like I had fallen in to an episode of Creep Show....)

Your selection of a younger ("younger" being a relative term when looking at that) version of Mumbles as your avatar is an improvement....(And I must say that in that "younger" version he could no longer be mistaken for Leonard Nimoy...Nimoy looked much healthier at that age....I guess that conversion of appearance didn't take place till much later....)

I think the photo you selected really captures the essential Cohen....

He looks dazed, confused, (with all due respect to our own Daze) and bewildered... (as though he is suffering from a small amount of brain damage...)

And he also looks as though he's having trouble hearing....

Hence the way he has his left hand cupped, (as you look at the photo) in a way that along with the expression on his face kind of says, "Eh?"

(Frankly I find it enormously illuminating to learn that Leonard Cohen has, and has had for decades, a hearing problem....it explains so much....)

He also seems to be oblivious to the fact that he has a cigarette in his left hand....(which goes to the small amount of brain damage point....hopefully he didn't drop in in his lap....)
