:funee:

ETA: this was posted seconds before Loca edited hers to add her comment about not being a professional. Her post amused me in the first line as it was fairly witty. Adding the second line made it just another crap response to a crap response

So her post earns the funee above plus this one :crap:

You'd have to ask, since you're not a professional.
Thanks Editec!

Fixed that for you.

Just because someone asks a question in a polite way, doesn't necessarily entitle one to a polite response....

It depends on the question....

If you ask a question that requests something, and what is being requested is outrageous and something you have no realistic right to expect the other party to accede then you might very well not receive a polite response...

For example If I walk up to an attractive young lady in a coffee shop, and say, "Excuse me Miss, but could you please remove your top?" I've asked the question very politely; but since what I asked for was completely out of line, and something I really had no right to expect, I'm not really entitled to a polite response....

Actually though, in this case you got polite responses initially; along with some advice on other ways to deal with your problem. (You also learned , from the posts of others that no one else here feels this is something the admins should have to do.)

ETA:

Put another way, the nature of a question itself can be rude, even if it's asked in a technically "polite" way. In this case, you asked a question that implies that the admins should be your servants. That's a rude thing to do, no matter what language you use to do it.

And the fact that you chose the most high profile way available to ask the question... creating a new thread about it...rather than asking about it in the relevant thread, or sending a PM, suggests that this was more about creating a venue for attention and drama, than it was a sincere attempt to obtain an answer.

Might I suggest that a more appropriate response for you to post, loCA, would have been,

"Cool beanz! Then will you be my new best friend?!?"

:nana

This is a little grammar joke; see what Crackpot really meant was "I like to annoy people." Instead, he proclaimed a proclivity for assholes.

Why else you think I post here?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
