The first name that comes to mind when I think Canadian folk is Gordon Lightfoot, of course.

Almost 40 years after I first heard it, still sends shivers up my spine.

And Gilles Vigneault is quintessential Quebec folk.

I'm not really a fan of folk music.

There are only so many songs about dead lifeboat men I can handle. ;)
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
