Rather than any talk of banning, lets see if this gets through.

You are operating under the assumptions of a sane person i.e. someone who would not want everyone to believe that he/she is making a fool of him/herself.

When someone chooses to act such that the reactions of others validate his/her own self-hatred, however...

I don't care anymore.

I care about this board. I care about the members. (yes, even Rubato/DGS/The Liberties, all of whom I profoundly disagree with.)

This place could be good fun, a place to sharpen debating skills, and place to exercise mental muscle.

A lesson for us all

An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, and truth."

The boy thought about it, and asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?"

The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed."

Old Readers Digest joke:

Grandmother:

"Sweetheart, there are two words I wish you would never use. One is 'cool', the other is 'lousy'"....

Grand daughter:

"Okay Grandma...what are they?"

I love that story, oldr. It's posted over my desk at work.

I'm going to try and woodburn that picture onto a piece of rock maple. I've done a few bald eagles, a grizzly bear, a cat (a girl I met in rehab's cat) a few butterflies and a mountain lake scene.
I should take pictures and post them somewhere so you guys can see my handywork. Anyone know some free hosting sites?

Sorry, Gob.....I'm feeling a tad exasperated by this one poster who continually throws sand into the gears.

I DO CARE about this board!

I DO CARE about the free exchange of ideas.

I DO CARE about having a polite on-line conversations with others who post here.

I DO CARE about seeing this bbs evolve and grow over time.

I DO CARE about all here.

I DO NOT CARE about one posters continually attempting to sabotage all the GOOD that transpires here.

Facebook and Flickr. But the first asks too many questions; right Joe?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Photobucket and Imageshack come to mind.

Which more or less exhausts my computer savvy for the week.

If I only had a cell phone. I have designed one, but don't own one.

Anyway, the wife and both kids have cell phones and my wife also has a digi-camera.
Have to stop being lazy and take some pictures.
I still have my film use, SLR minolta X-700.

Thanks for the offer BSG but I do have one. :ok
