I was actually referring to Charlie "Chuck" Daniels vs Charlie "Chuck" Manson...

I didn't have you on "ignore".

(I have no one on "ignore")

I am too slow witted at times to understand your inferences.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Oh yes, they did...

<snip>

Pretty much dreck...

And certainly a long way away from Surfin' USA...

Kinda "The Beach Boys On 'ludes"... :D
And CM was really pissed off...he held a .45 to Dennis Wilson's head and threatened to kill him.

In his autobiography, Meat Loaf mentions picking up a freaky hitchhiker and driving him to what turned out to be Dennis Wilson's house. The guy offered to tell his fortune, and asked if he wanted to meet a Beach Boy.

Yep, it was Manson.

*bump*

(I guess I'm supposed to identify the Beach Boys' "I Get Around"--even though it's so obvious--before I post the next lyrics?)

It's a lesson to me
the Deltas and the E's and the Frees
the ABC's we all think of
to try to give a little love.

I know the rent is in arrears
the dog has not been fed in years
it's even worse than it appears
but it's all right

Cow is giving kerosene
the kid can't read at seventeen
the words he knows are all obscene
but it's all right
I will get by
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Yet another one to add to my,

"Why I don't want Charles Manson mad at me list"....

Reason #43:

"When Charlie gets mad, he holds a .45 to your head"

I'll try to remember that....

So, name the tune and post more lyrics . . . .

You need just a touch of something to get the name right.

Coincidentally, it's playing on my radio at this very moment.

She doesn't eat, she doesn't sleep
for if she slept then she would dream about this:
a place where she'd be treated with respect and sympathy.
The American girl
set her sights on the old world,
thinking in the old world she'd find honesty.

And so she blew in like a breath of fresh air,
captivating all around her;
and as she passed she left a trail of heartbreak in her wake.
The American girl
cut her teeth on the old world,
all at once the old world hers upon a plate
and fascinated by her face
the old world sealed her fate.

She felt she'd come home across the sea,
this was where she was meant to be.

She didn't understand the potency of envy
so ingrained in the culture
and soon she found contempt had grown from her familiarity.
She doesn't eat, she doesn't sleep,
she lies awake and wonders how this happened.
The American girl
stubbed her toe on the old world
and the old world's unforgiving rigidity.

Well times got hard
and talk came cheap;
she found that finally
something wasn't right across the sea...
now she's stateless in all but her memory.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Oh that's Meathead - Midnight at the etc but I only knew that because I googled Meatball during that earlier discussion
some believe that when they die they really live
I believe there never is an end
God gave up this world, its people long ago
Why she's never there I still don't understand
......from when they were really good
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Nice one Gen'l! :ok

Visions of Angels by Genesis.

Here's one with a connection to that...
And he tears the business tags from his old suitcase
As he packs away the pieces of his life
They all love him but they always try to change him
That's what happens when a girl becomes a wife
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
