This Nude Unicyclist Was Arrested Trying To Cross A Bridge

As a native Texan, the phrase "Don't Mess With Texas" was drilled into my brain to mean something analogous to "Keep Highways Beautiful" because of its use in an anti-littering ad campaign. Joseph Farley didn't litter while crossing a bridge in Kemah on a unicycle Wednesday afternoon, but he did "Mess With Texas" by choosing do so in the buff.

The 45-year-old man was arrested (NSFW video here) on a charge of indecent exposure after someone called the police to report a naked man on a unicycle trying to cross the Highway 146 bridge. Kemah is sort of a weird mix of rich yacht club types and second-rate beach bums. Tilman Fertitta, the guy who owns every other restaurant in America, has a house here.

And so does Farley, who was apparently completely sober when he crossed the major thoroughfare while naked and on a unicycle. When asked why he told the cops he just liked the feeling.

We'd judge, but check out those quads.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

When the sun comes out on a fine weekend, it can be tempting to remove a few layers and enjoy the welcome warmth in the great outdoors.

But this rambler appears to have taken things a step too far - by strolling to a chip shop wearing nothing but boots and socks.

The mystery naked man was spotted walking down the middle of a leafy residential road, seemingly without a care in the world.

His bold display shocked witness Tim Stevens and his girlfriend Kate, who watched the surprising spectacle as they drove through Enfield, north London.

The couple were so amazed by the man's actions that they filmed him on a camera phone.

The film, recorded at about 5pm last Sunday, shows a car having to swerve to avoid the man as he walked towards a roundabout.

Mr Stevens said he did not recognise the man and had no idea what had happened to him since.

'He was confidently walking down the long road,' Mr Stevens added.

'He didn’t say anything, he just looked happy and proud.

'He was wearing only shoes and socks, and was about 5 ft 8.

'A friend said he was spotted in a fish and chip shop asking for a battered sausage.'

Mr Stevens suggested that the rambler may have been a euphoric Arsenal fan, celebrating his team's Premier League victory over West Bromwich Albion.

'Arsenal had just qualified for the Champions League,' Mr Stevens said. 'It could be related.'

Mr Stevens, 28, said the man, who was about 40, was later seen walking into a local chippie to buy a ‘battered sausage’.

It's amazing what you can fit in a sock when you've got nowhere else to put it.

At least he's in decent condition. ;) Not bad for a guy who eats battered sausages.

Really should have gone with flip flops or some other less formal foot attire.

Battered sausages? FOTG! Along with deep fried pizza and deep fried mars bars, the make up a goodly portion of any Adonis's eating habits.
