Goal celebrations
Goal celebrations
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Re: Goal celebrations
Goal celebrations in soccer are a disgrace and should receive red cards for all concerned. Penalising the team helps as well - one thing that American 'football' has got right.
It's particularly obnoxious when a player scores a penalty and acts as if they've just climbed Everest. Well perhaps not.
"Try to look as if you've done it before, son" is the coach's advice to a player who scores a goal.
Here in South Africa where a zero-zero draw is quite normal for the ABSA Premiership, the above advice does not compute. Hence we get full scale toi toi all over the pitch - very low class

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Goal celebrations
if you can't score an Oscar for the celebration, then the points should be withdrawn if you look like you are trying too.
Bah!

Re: Goal celebrations
That's just bitterness because so many of them happen against Spurs...MajGenl.Meade wrote:Goal celebrations in soccer are a disgrace and should receive red cards for all concerned. Penalising the team helps as well - one thing that American 'football' has got right.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
