Runners completing the Edinbrugh Marathon have been left decidedly red-faced - but it has nothing to do with the exhausting 26 mile course. Each of the 23,000 people who took part in last Sunday's event were presented with medals that that appeared to many concerned to have been modelled on a man's genetalia. The phallic-shaped gongs quickly became a laughing stock on social networking sites after Sunday's race.
