Behind the scenes at a McDonald's photo shoot
Behind the scenes at a McDonald's photo shoot

That was rather interesting, actually. A bit of propaganda, but I enjoyed seeing the process for the shoot.

It's funny, they showed you the biggest difference, but the woman doing the narration never mentions it....
They don't actually cook the burgers...they just brown the outer edge; as a result it makes the meat look larger than what you would get if it cooked through....
And the main point of having all the ketchup, mustard pickles and onion showing out from under the bun isn't to let you know they put those things on the burger....
It's to give you the impression that you get more of that stuff than you really do...

I don't agree with part of what you wrote.Lord Jim wrote:It's funny, they showed you the biggest difference, but the woman doing the narration never mentions it....

They do want the burger to look more large, but it is the same amount of burger meat you will get. And I'm sure they expect that people will be attracted to things they put on the burger. That's why those things are displayed.
I believe anyone could ask for extra catsup, mustard or pickles at no extra cost.
I doubt they want it to look like there are more pickles etc. They just want to show you what is added to the burger.
