In memoriam

Post by @meric@nwom@n »

I put this in the sticky thread but decided to give it thread of its own:
One thing that is very regretful about the closing of the CSB is that we left behind the ashes of RBrown, Loki and ROE (others?). Anyone with a classy idea on how we can pay homage to them on this board? Had they been alive I am sure they would have been onboard with us.

Gone, but not forgotten....

I'd be happy to give forums subtitles in their honour.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

That sounds good to me Gob!
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

I've been thinking of them all recently. Loki's passing day is soon (or, was recently).

Edited to add:

I was wrong, It is/was ROE's not Loki's.

I was reading ROE's final folded thought which I think was posted shortly after his passing around July 14(?).

I can't remember the year now. I am sure I was posting at the time, so I am guessing 2003?

I am lost without their posts now. :(
Bah!

I can't imagine anyone voting against the idea of honoring those among us who are no longer with us...

We're all going to be there eventually.... :(

Some sooner than others, Jim.

btw: Happy Belated 4th to you and yours.

I heard that The City was fogged in (as usual) so the folks @ the Marina Green had to make do with M-80's and bottle rockets. ;)

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

And of course not forgetting my old mucker CADman...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
