Obama, disrespect?
Re: Obama, disrespect?
I can’t do anything about misspelling in a title. Feel free not to participate if it bothers you.

Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.

You could fix it, actually, by editing your opening post. And it doesn't bother me in the slightest, I just enjoy making fun of you, call it an affinity for shooting at fish in barrels.

I did proof read and I edit, but I missed it and once I had submitted it and someone had made a comment it was too late to change it. Unless you know something I don’t.Crackpot wrote:edit your opening post. (click the edit button)

Re: Oboma, disrespect?
I just now changed the title of a thread I started last night from "Romney, you got some 'splainin' to do..." to "Romney, you got some 'splaining to do..."--so I just proved you can do it.

US politics, serious shite!
Something amiss in 'kiss cam' kiss, after initial diss
Is anything beyond political spin? The very public kiss between President Barack Obama and the first lady at a basketball match on Monday may have been somewhat staged.
Barack and Michelle Obama were at the game between the US Olympic basketball team and Brazil in Washington's Verizon Centre when the stadium's "kiss cam" focused its sights on them.
President Obama politely declined. Instead he decided to demurely put his arm around the first lady and was booed by disappointed fans.
Towards the end of the game, the President got a chance to redeem himself when the camera focused on the couple again. This time he rose to the occasion, delivering a kiss on the lips of Mrs Obama, along with a peck on the forehead for good measure. The crowd cheered.
But New York Times White House correspondent Peter Baker later tweeted the second attempt may have been engineered.
"Not to be cynical, but press pool was out in motorcade ready to leave and then brought back into arena in time for successful kiss-cam redo," he wrote.
Kiss cams, in which couples in the stands are filmed on the big screen and encouraged to smooch, are popular at big sporting matches in America.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the Obamas did not understand what was happening when they appeared on the big screen, but realised their error once their daughters explained the finer points of kiss cam etiquette at half-time.
