I'm not amused 
...tried the 'ball in cup flips', more than a few times, [great software] and got the arrow, clicked over the ball more than once; still the color didn't change

Ha, I actually did (accidentally) find the way to make it change colors. I got it to go from blue to gold back to blue to green to red to pink (so far).
