Wow.

He isn't my enemy.
You referred to the shrub in human terms; if you insist on using a pronoun use the pronoun it.

lib, I'm beginning to get a bit concerned about you.

Is everything okay? You're raving a little here... actually a lot!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Don’t be concerned Sean it is all in fun. And it is not like we have not heard it all here or on CSB before. It trashes the presidency but what is the office for, it is not like anything is going to get done. The Iranian will get Nukes and we will be sorry but not as much as the Israelis. The economy will continue to go down to the point that our grandchildren will be beggars and we will become less and less free. But it like Dr. R Strange Love said quit worrying and learn to love the bomb. Hell, maybe we all can move to Australia.

Come on Pollyanna, you really think the future will be that great? Maybe if we're very lucky.

Has he answered his page yet? I'd love to hear his philosophical ravings.

That's a thought...

I know somebody there who'd be thrilled to have us all camp out in his yard....

I'm not sure how berating Hen like you did for describing Bush as a human can be "all in fun" lib. If you think it is, you really need to work on your sense of humour.

Or instead of going to Australia, we could all move to the UK and get on the political refugee gravy train.... :ok

I'll do you "mates rates."

I was not berating Hen.

But your off-the-wall comments have caused a lot of us to be rating ya'll at a lower standard than you be rated in the past.

I beg to differ...
You referred to the shrub in human terms; if you insist on using a pronoun use the pronoun it.
So what would you call that?

Insistence, everyone has a right to insist no something, but one is required to comply.
And love Hen I would never berate her.

Have you not berated GW in the past? When did the rules change?

You are being a spoil sport. You can prove me wrong now by saying something nasty about GW or the shrub if you prefer.

I think there may be some misreading of lib going on here....

It seems to me that he's not trying to berate anybody; what he is doing (attempting to do anyway, perhaps the execution is somewhat inartful) is to be satirical....

I believe most of his posts in this thread have been intended not as reflections of his own views, but as parody of what he sees as some standard views held by many liberals. Such as, George W Bush doesn't deserve the respect of being referred to as a person, he should be scorned by being called "shrub", and Elton John should be considered a "traitor" (to the liberal camp) for praising him.

I frequently do not agree with lib, and even more frequently have difficulty discerning where he's coming from, (I'm still trying to process that whole "let's make Guatemala a state thing") but it seems to me that when it comes to being personally insulting or obnoxious towards other posters, he's way down the list on those criteria. It appears to me that he receives a lot more on that score than he gives, and he seems to take it pretty good-naturedly.

Fair enough Jim. To be honest, I don't try very hard to keep track of which side of the political fence you lot stand so I assumed that he isn't a fan of Bush.
Actually, I've just re-read the thread and it doesn't even make much sense to me as a satire or parody. It certainly doesn't read like that. But that's probably just me...

lib, if I have misread you intentions then I apologise.
