Let's talk about inaccuracy. You quoted a story using numbers from 2009. The 7,000 figure comes from numbers in 2011. Apparently 2011 had a liberal bias.

The story isn't so much that these people somehow maliciously evaded their taxes. The story is that Mr. Romney is so far out of touch that he's talking about ignoring nearly half the country simply because they don't pay income taxes.
And part of the story is pointing out how many people are in that 47% without being "lazy" or "entitled".

Actually, the 7,000 figure comes from a computer model and is not a real number. (The latest actual number I could find was for 2009 from an IRS report issued at the same time as the 7,000 figure was imagined). That second point is that these people actually do pay taxes, they just pay them in the country they work in, so it is completely inaccurate to state or leave for inference that 7,000 or 1,500 millionaires don't pay taxes.
Lets see -- a friend of mine who is in deriviatives and all that high end investment crapbusiness is a 1%er by income, but lives and works in Bermuda, so he pays no federal income tax. Apparently he is a victim, dependent on the gub'mint. Which was news to him...

He may not be a victim, but he is certainly causing others (me, you....) to pay more in federal income taxes. I only wish I was able to go "off shore" with my money and save a few dollars by doing so. More in my pocket (to spend on what I choose to spend on) less to the government to "redistribute" not even in my name.
Is there anyone here who has not sought out each and every deduction/shelter they can possibly get? and if you say "no" I believe you are lieing.
But would you take the "please punch me hard on the nose" face which goes with it Jim?
