Are your DQ's like the South Bay's? That's where all the classic car aficionados hang out.

No, just the usual penniless bums asking for change.

I must've been drunk that night...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: A Lovely Lunch With A Lovely lady...
Ok, I'll rephrase that; "Ok, anyone we like who is coming to Canberra, we'll treat to a meal at old Parliament house..."

“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: A Lovely Lunch With A Lovely lady...
Tchach! You could've gotten out of that by simply stating that the offer was for anyone visiting from overseas but oh no...

I'd like the cheddar souffle or the mushrooms, the kingfish/ginger prawn, and the lamb. No dessert but wine, please.
Jim, if I make it out to SFO next year I'll let you know and the rest of the locals know -- I'd love to meet Tati, too!

It was a lovely time at an Irish pub in what has become a mostly Asian neighborhood. I lived in the neighborhood for 18 years before moving up to Sonoma County; a lot has changed in the six and a half years since I moved.
I followed lunch with a visit to the eye doctor...I think next time I'll plan the doc visit first, so I can let my eyes un-dilate in a nice dark pub before driving home!
I didn't get to meet Tati, but I did get to see pictures of her and LJ Jr....

Anyone coming to Lon-GUY-land will have to let me know. I don't do NY City, but if I did we could go to Peter Lugars (but they don't take reservations and they don't take credit cards). And I don't do the Hamptons.
Near me, we could go to Paces Steak House or some of the more "quaint" eating establishments down in Port Jefferson. They shouldn't be too busy this time of year and it's still nice enough to ride the motorcycle there. Big biker town.
