Can't see the point in it myself...

If I haven't reached middle age, then I'm going Here I thought I drank more than half my life and I still have a year to go.

Mine are both dead.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Overheard recently (at a local folk music festival): "DEAD is the new OLD."
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Being almost 63 I have not decided where middle age starts. Some days I feel rather old, aches and pains, most days I don't even consider age important. I have, for most of my life, used the mind over matter approach. I don't mind and it just plain don't fucking matter! :nana

Works for me. :ok
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.

I have decided to not celebrate my age, but the years left to retirement.

My worse case scenario means that today I have 10 years left to work.

Today I celebrate 10 years left, not 49 years old.

(Once I retire I will start my year count again at 1. I will be looking to hold a huge party for my next twenty-first birthday.)

:D
