Thank heavens - I thought this was another boast about your love life.....
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Re: "In the time it takes me to boil an egg,
I doubt that you can boil an egg.
The time it takes you to boil water to cook an egg depends on how you want the egg cooked, your local elevation above sea level, the volume of water, the source of heat, and the efficiency of heat transfer between the heating element and the water.
Do you assume that Mitt Romney earns his income on a continuous basis? I hardly think this is the case.
Do you wonder how much of the United States taxpayers' borrowed money Our Beloved President earns while playing a round of golf?
Why or why not?

Far less than when Mitt went slumming into a local fast-food eatery.

In the time it tales me to decide whether I care how much money Mitt Romney makes, Mitt Romney makes $5.78...

Re: "In the time it takes me to boil an egg,
To paraphrase Oldr&Wisr, what, exactly, is the significance of the fact that Governor Romney makes a lot of money? That he has been wildly successful playing by the same rules as everyone else?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Dare I say that among the morons on the Left, it is hoped that this information would make potential voters LESS likely to vote for Romney.
I.E. Success is something to be scorned.
What more needs to be said?

Re: "In the time it takes me to boil an egg,
I am a little jealous of those who get a head start on life, but I have no desire to take away what they have earned nor what they were given. I was given health and a good work ethic and while I have had my "mis-steps" in life, I think I worked pretty hard for what I do have and what I have earned. And I don't want anyone coming to "redistribute" what I have earned. Sure I complain when the gov takes some 25-30% of my labored earnings (and 15% of my money making me money) but I know there are things the gov must do that I must pay for.
We see these sites showing what Romney makes every second but what about Buffet or Jobs (when he was alive) or Gates or any other rich person? All of them make ridiculous amounts of money every minute. Again, so what? Should we elect the dirt poor who has done nothing to better himself in his life?

Re: "In the time it takes me to boil an egg,
That's about 47% in both USA and Australia isn't it? What were the odds on that happening in two countries?we elect the dirt poor who has done nothing to better himself in his life
I think the point oldr is that
(a) it's a fun thing (for a very limited time and mind such as mine) to calculate using silly "in the time it takes....." prefixes
(b) That he is wealthy doesn't matter - how he does it may matter a great deal in a person who is seeking to run the economy, not to mention the entire executive branch of the United States of America.
These are things that Steve Jobs (partly due to death), the Microsoft guy, Warren Boofay are not trying to do - at least, not in terms of competing to be voted to be allowed to do it

Re: "In the time it takes me to boil an egg,
Actually there was a point in Jobs' life where he was contemplating entering the public arena. However he was afraid his past (or present) "attitudes and adventures" would be brought out. These are things that Steve Jobs (partly due to death), the Microsoft guy,
