BSG's "Complaints"....

All things related to the general running of the forum - got a suggestion? Here's where it should go.

This comment got me to wondering:
loCA sent something to Gob's employer that caused them all to have a good laugh at her expense? Sure. But if by his own acknowledgment it had no real effect on him - just a laugh at her poorly articulated lies - why all the outrage?
If BSG would be so cavalier in her characterization, if someone did something comparable to her that LoCa did to Strop; data mine her employment information and then file a bogus formal complaint about her to a professional oversight body, that then conveyed the complaint to her employer in order to investigate the complaint....

Yeah right....

This is a person who once threatened to sue me for daring to wonder whether she knew that Montana had no insanity defense, in a public on-line forum....(Note to Meade: yeah, I know that's not artfully phrased; I'm not referring to having an insanity defense for what one writes in an on-line forum  )

In considering what her reaction would be to someone doing to her, what LoCa did to Strop, the word "apoplectic" comes to mind....

She'd be sputtering with rage; she would be having a full blown, (as we used to say in High School) "spaz attack", if anyone should dare to do such a thing to her....

Actually by Gob's own acknowledgment, he didn't lose his job.

As for it having "no real effect on him"?

I really don't know how anyone could come to that conclusion from what has been posted.

I would not have characterised it as " hanging over Gob's head for sometime" if he was just having a laugh.

I am sure BSG will not return to post, if she does this thread will probably be used to "prove her point". However, it does seem she really was upset with Gob and myself for doing exactly what she apparently was always telling posters to do.
Bah!

Oh, absolutely...

She's so deeply immersed in the alternative reality she has constructed for herself about this forum and the people here, (and about herself, and her own behavior) that she will undoubtedly see this as proof positive of how "toxic" and "mean" this place is....

But whether she posts in this thread or not, I have no doubt that she will have read it....

I predict a happy ending. BSG will get a job in San Diego and she and Loco will become BFF's. They can then swap stories of their dysfunctional childhoods while brushing each other's hair. They can tell of their time and mistreatment on this board. It is so win/win.

I don't believe that TPFKA@w is american woman.

What has been posted is not her natural style as far as I can tell.

And why would she create a new handle?

If that is @w, she has lost her edge and become a wuss.

Foxhole my arse! I have a nice sturdy concrete bunker here.

I can only pray it holds...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

It would well appear that BSG has gone again.

It is probably for the best given the 180 degree re-write of history she has done whilst wearing her vestal virginal white robes.

Travel well BSG. Don't concern yourself about this Board. The toxicity seems to be reducing on a daily basis.

BSG sent me an email (no she didn't). She wanted me to pass on a message to everyone here at Plan B (I'm a lying sack of shit). She said she read this entire thread and wanted me to say on her behalf (and pigs are flying out of my ass)....

"Hi everyone. BSG here. I just want to say....

I don't like loCA, I don't communicate with her, she is not my friend, and yes I readily acknowledge having been drawn into the ongoing loCAdrama which never ended because someone was always stirring it back up - months and months and months before a suspension was ever suggested.

LJ makes threats to seek legal advice and/or take legal action in response to Andrew D's accusations that he's a criminal in his professional life, but can't comprehend my outrage when he makes outrageous statements (entirely misunderstanding Montana law) asserting that I'm nearly incompetent, despite serving as the highest law enforcement officer in my jurisdiction?

It must be happening in the Plan B Zone.

LJ isn't worthy of the time it would take to make him my enemy, @w. He's not intelligent or mature enough for his opinions to matter that much to me. Sorry to see you choose this opportunity to return, and with such opinions. Clearly I vastly overestimated you.

Yes, Meade, after posting here for all but three months of the place's existence and supporting it financially, I shouldn't have the right to vote. Oh, unless I'd come back gunning for loCA. Then it would be fine and the question would not have been raised. I'd have been welcomed back with open arms & huzzahs if I'd but agreed with the right folks.

Those other four 'no' voters probably shouldn't have the right to vote, either.

I post in response to NPR, New Yorker and other stories on Facebook occasionally. One time a few months back some guy didn't like my comment, took a wee bit of info available from my public 'about' section, tracked down my asserted 'deputy county attorney' info, went to the website for my old office & not seeing me there (site was still under construction), called my old supervisor from his home in NJ (sorry, Sue, that's where he was from) and 'reported' me, falsely, for fraudulently representing myself as a law enforcement officer.

Did I FREAK OUT? Have a cow, man? Call the coppers? File a lawsuit? Nope. My boss and I nearly pissed ourselves laughing about it.

A person who largely behaves in a manner that brings no shame upon them has no reason to freak out. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to expect respect and courtesy from the members of their community.

I stand by what I said; this place is very often toxic and there must always, it seems, be a target of the hour. I'm now and for many months have been participating in a half dozen other fora where no, this kind of dynamic is NOT the norm.

Again, I'm happy to rejoin the likes of the many who have walked away from this community, whether here or CSB, and not returned. I won't even bother reading anymore - I hadn't in weeks, too busy IRL, but when I happened to stop by and see what was going on this week I made the mistake of believing I could express an opinion, pointing out that there is a precedent for fucking with folks IRL and it's from the IN crowd, without immediate piling on. Foolish of me, I now admit.

Say all kinds of nasty shit about me. Forget, in the space of a few posts you don't agree with, years of calling me friend and accepting my generosity. Pile it on. I can - and have been, happily - do far better with my time than to waste it here.

I will never be back; you have my solemn oath. This short visit made me realize I don't miss it at all.

You are making assumptions based on your life which have no parallels in this case.

You leap to a conclusion based on no evidence.

What does that say about you? What are you again?

Hmmm.

Hoo-Roo you.

You're being a tad dramatic there BSG...

What Meade posted has nothing to do with how long you've been posting here. It was about the fact that you asked for a temporary password in order to vote and then almost immediately asked for it to be deactivated. That's hit and run voting without any intention of contributing anything else. I can see why people don't like it.

As far as "piling on" goes, you made multiple accusations against multiple posters here including a completely false one against me. Do you expect people to just allow you to do that and not respond? When they do respond you call it "piling on".

Like I said, over the top dramatics!

You know BSG, I strongly suspect that thanks to your performance here this week, (attempting to bigfoot a thread considering the permanent banning of a member with your own personal whine festival, surreal misrepresentations, and scatter gun attacks against both individual posters and the board as a whole) that there are considerably fewer people here today who are going to care much about that, then there were a week ago....
