Tom Smothers actually owns a vineyard (Remick Ridge), and Arrowood makes a Cabernet Sauvignon from grapes grown there.

That would not be surprising. Bruce Cohn manages the Doobie Brothers. They, along with others, do an annual benefit concert at the winery.MajGenl.Meade wrote:B R Cohn... I may have met him (at an intimate gathering of several scores of people) at a wine tasting in Twinsburg in the late 80s. There was some talk about music.

I went to the Smothers Brothers winery before it became Remick Ridge. I was visiting my brother and we went there together. My brother lived in Santa Rosa, not very far from their winery. He ran into Tom Smothers on another day and said, "Hi Dick!".Andrew D wrote:Tom Smothers actually owns a vineyard (Remick Ridge), and Arrowood makes a Cabernet Sauvignon from grapes grown there.
