I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

You could make him feel at home by serving all of the food in buckets coffee in a bucket-sized mug.

Don't worry so much, the yankees lost this weekend and from what I saw, they can't get past first base.

I was hoping for an update on how this went. I would also like to see a guest post from the American fellow.

It's all sweet, they are very smitten.

They are talking about coming to the UK with us in a years time, but going off on their own exploring (mainly in Scotland,) for the majority of their time there.

He seems to be a nice chap.

No no Gob, Yankees are not nice. Have you ever heard phrases damn Yankee and Yankee go home? If he is nice perhaps he really is not a Yankee at heart in that case he might be salvageable. :)

How about some details (no names of course) what does he look like , what part of the states is from, career goals, etc, etc, etc?

Well as I said earlier, his origin is Illinois, he is (as is only to be expected for anyone courting Hatch,) very handsome, and is currently employed as an apprentice by CSIRO.

She was smitten with him right through High School.

They remained friends.

It had been her great unrequited love, it is now requited.

I am happy for her, but I do still miss her previous beau. He was lovely, though it was never going to be a long-term love.

An Iowan who is a chef. *double shudder*
An Iowan who is a chef and used to dye his (then) shoulder length hair blonde. Wait, TheKid dyes her hair blonde/white, so...

Still. He's from Iowa. Ptui.

Probably not, but Yankees do have tails like dogs; they keep them hidden because they are ashamed.

Well he is dating Hatch, so I think it's expected he would, frequently....
