I confess I failed this UK citizenship test (67%). But to be fair it is slanted toward current UK stuff and is not really historical - unlike the USA one (what colour is the flag? what colour was it last year? etc).

Some of the answers quite surprised me (well about 33% of them I suppose). eg I got the right answer but who knew that such people had the right to vote in the UK? Bloody foreigners!

First time through I got 9/24. On re-test, I got 100%. I'm nothing if not educable.

I got 11/24, but many of the questions seemed oddly and unnecessarily precise (e.g. Why would it be important to know whether the number of children and young people up to the age of 19 in the UK is 14 million or 15 million, or the exact percentage of Muslims in the UK, to one-tenth of a percent [as opposed to a broader range such as under 1%/1-5%/5-10%/over10%]?) And is is really necessary to know trivia about the EU (but not the Commonwealth or NATO or the UN) in order to vote in the UK?
