LiLo IS FOR ROMNEY? EXCELLENT
The Rom'ster definitely need her proven expertise in order to steal enough votes for him to win this election.

And that is different than any other USA company who has products made in China (many many, small and big companies have stuff manufactured in China, hell I was layed off because "electrical design" went to China)? Every few years there is an accusal against Apple (OWS's darling because if they didn't have their iPhones and Samsungs and Nokia tabs/phones they would all shrivel up and die) and their factories in China. China don't give a $H!t, nor does any American (or foreign) business who can get cheap labor and no EPA interference. China provides that. Here's the management experience which Romney woudl bring to the US presidency, I hope he applies it, I am anti-American after all. You can just see how the US economy would benefit greatly from this sort of input!!
I would much rather goods be made here in the USA, but it is getting harder and harder to find the "Made in USA" label. Outsourcing? too bad we can't outsource the gov, Can't do much worse.

Re: Why I must vote for Romney
And Obama made something? Most of the population of hte USA do not "make" anything. That doesn't mean they do not serve a useful purpose. I am an engineer with designs that are still out there that you watch every day. TV graphics, bugs, sports scores, those are all computers I either designed myself or was part of a team who did. The company I worked for won two engineering Emmy's and somewhere are pictures of me with the Emmy's. The new Boeing 737 lighting system is a design I helped with. The latest Andriod phone and it's industrial counterpart for cops/emts/FD's is also a design I helped with. But non of that means anything if the people also involved didn't go to the possible customers and ask for their needs. None of the successes would have been possible if the salesmen didn't get out there and sell the idea and the product. They didn't "make" it but I would not have a job if they didn't sell the product. But Romney never invented anything. He never made anything. He is a parasite.
You could have the best widget in the world, but if people didn't think of it and people didn't sell it, the people who designed and brought it to fruition would not have jobs.
I am not a salesman. I am not a corporate leader, CEO nor even VP of a department. Not in my nature. I like to make things. But that doesn't mean I don't understand the need for those people. And none of them "make" anything other than aiding me and getting money to fund what I do make.
Different people with different skills make a business. Only the ignorant think they can do it all.
Re: Why I must vote for Romney
According to this infantile view of economic realities, if you don't "make" anything you are a parasite?
Imagine, if you will, a technological genius, who invents the greatest contraption the world has ever seen. Without a "parasitic" lawyer, he will not be able to secure the intellectual property rights in his invention. Without a parasitic venture capitalist, he will not be able to raise money to exploit his invention. Without the help of parasitic businessmen, we will - as most inventors - run his new business into the ground and end up bankrupt.
And spend his time posting infantile rants about "parasites" on some obscure BBS.

Re: Why I must vote for Romney
Interesting that not one of the Romney supporters wants to comment on his economy/job creation "success" during his stint as Governor?? Why does that not surprise me . . . .Guinevere wrote:1. Romney left behind a $1B deficit -- which his Democratic successor cleaned up.
2. Romney promised "jobs creation second to none" but during Romney’s four years in office, the state added a net 31,000 jobs, a growth rate of less than 1 percent compared to 5 percent nationally during the same period.
3. Romney claims he brought business to Massachusetts. An example of how that worked: The state required Bristol-Myers Squibb to hire 350 workers to receive certain tax breaks if it moved to MA. Total incentives paid was more than $100 million, which means MA ultimately paid about $250,000 for each of the 400 jobs that exist at the plant today.
4. Romney increased fees for all sorts of government documents (deed recording stamps, executions, filing fees, etc) by about $375 million annually.
5. Property taxes in MA increased 24% during Romney's term.

Re: Why I must vote for Romney
It is an honest question, I do want to know and it is not about Obama. It is about Sue or more precisely her attitude towards the Constitution. To me the Constitution is sacred, but among my liberal friends I have come to the conclusion it is not predominately the case. A parallel could be made with marriage vows or a contract. “Are they words you say then forget“? (Judds) Perhaps the liberal motto should be: Pity the fool the fool that follows the rules.Guinevere wrote:But he wasn't, so it patently is not an honest question.liberty wrote:Sue U wrote:How do you know Gob wasn't born in Kenya? And on the subject of marriage vows: You should not say you love someone unless you mean it,

Name ONE thing that Sue has EVER posted here that would even REMOTELY suggest that she doesn't have respect for the Constitution.
Just one.
Can't do it? Then shut the fuck up.

To the question posted here, she didn’t say yes. Ask me if an articles of the constitution matters and my answer without evasion well be yes.Scooter wrote:Name ONE thing that Sue has EVER posted here that would even REMOTELY suggest that she doesn't have respect for the Constitution.

Re: Why I must vote for Romney
Lib, I believe that what you're trying to get at here , is that you believe that there may be people on this board who are so fanatically devoted to Barack Obama that they would want him to be President even if he had been born in another country. (Which would of course be a violation of the Constitution)
Your initial question seemed to imply that some people, (and in your follow up, Sue specifically) care less about the Constitution than they care about having Barack Obama as President....
In a country of 300 million, I am sure that there are such people, however I would be very surprised if there are any on this board, and I am absolutely certain that Sue would not be one of them.

Re: Why I must vote for Romney
No Lib, your question is anything but honest. What it is, is a strawman, designed around your skewed view of the world, and Sue is far too smart to fall for your nonsense.
As to the rest, are you fucking kidding me?? As lawyers, what do you think we do all day, sit around thinking of ways to subvert the laws of this land. Well, that may be what you think, but you're so so so incredibly wrong. Do you think either of us took our oaths with our finger's crossed. You know, where we swear to support the Constitution of the US, and of our respective states, "so help us God."

Meade is so gonna bust you fer not using a ?mark. As lawyers, what do you think we do all day, sit around thinking of ways to subvert the laws of this land.
I think lawyers spend their moments between thinking of ways to subvert the law with thinking of ways to over throw the world.
So personally I don't think they spend all their time trying to subvert the law...
Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is

But this........
I am saddened to learn that Guin and Sue have to share one finger.
Which one is it ladies?

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Why I must vote for Romney
I believe that liberty's question was intended to be an honest one. Some people's response to it was very obviously indicative of their choice of presidential candidate.
So, I'll answer it...
Question: Would it make a difference to you if Obama was in fact born in Kenya?
Answer: It wouldn't make any difference to me and probably not you either. If he were born in Kenya, he couldn't have become our president. So I probably would never had heard of him and certainly wouldn't care where he was born.
