For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Like the universe and my stomach, this thread just keeps expanding.
Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
...in all of the directions it can whizz!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
Hang about. Is this thread still going?
I had the last word in it sometime ago.

Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
They missed it because it was amongst a lot of other words, fore and aft

Fore and aft aren't a lot of other words, they're just two?

Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
That is a very deep question.
Do fore and aft equal 5 words? It depends whether or not one counts the "and". If one does, then fore and aft equal 6 words.
Additionally (oh a pun!) if my vacant land is graced by a realtor's sign declaring "Lot for Sale", should I point out that 1,000 square feet of land is not a lot but rather a little? Evidently a "lot" may be both a large number of objects and a single group of many objects.
In South Africa the sign would probably indicate "Plot for Sale" which avoids one problem but leads to another.

Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
My prediction is that this thread will never end: it will become infinite, and meet itself coming around from the other end of the universe. At that time there will be no beginning and no end, only an infinite oneness, and anyone who has ever participated will then be able to say truthfully that they had the first word, and anyone who has ever participated will then be able to say truthfully that they had the last word.
Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Collapsing into a sigularity.
Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
If the last word meets the first word, how will we know the difference?
Re: BSG's "Complaints"....
Fore and aft are directions, bow and stern are parts of a ship. Not equivalent.oldr_n_wsr wrote:I prefer bow and stern
