Light rain and some wind here. I just dragged 29lbs of unhappy feline off the porch...before I could grab the towel, Maya shook, spraying water all over me. Damn cat! :)

The sea wall behind by house, 3+ hours before the noon high tide today. The storm is still several hundred miles away. These are iphone, not camera shots - its getting dangerous out there and I didn't want to risk my camera.

We are aprox 450 miles from NYC and even here have been advised to take precautions due to expected strong winds and heavy rain. Nothing like those who live on the coast though. For all of you who are in the direct path good luck and try to stay safe.
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.
