Pennsylvania police found something else when they took a suspected teenaged drunk driver into custody: buried treasure.
Christopher Scheller, 18
Christopher Scheller, 18
Back in December, Christopher Scheller, 18, appeared intoxicated after he crashed into a tree in southern York County, Harrisburg’s WHTM-TV reports.
After being taken to a hospital, X-rays discovered something odd in Scheller’s rectum. A closer look uncovered the following:
– Four bracelets
– Four necklaces
– 11 ladies rings
– A socket wrench
– A bag of synthetic marijuana
Investigators believe he stole those items and quickly stashed them in his bum when officers first approached him.
He has been charged with theft and DUI and remains in custody on $75,000 bail.

Laying the jewelry and "synthetic" marijuana aside, how "quickly" can you shove a socket wrench up your ass?– Four bracelets

Please don't answer that question...

Re: Teen gets Bum Rap....
I expect it was just the detachable socket part and it was described for maximum impact. So to speak.

You speak as though you may have some experience with bum socket wrenches...
Re: Teen gets Bum Rap....
I do. I've split sockets down the side right where the 'point' of the opening is.* You know what a point is, don't you?

* Cheap "craftsmen" tools from SEARS. I just welded it back with an arc welder in our shop. Never broke again.

Yes I do.rubato wrote:You know what a point is, don't you?
It's something you aren't able to make without adding a gratuitous insult.

All was in the spirit of your own response.
When you find a point, you can hope it involves self-perception.

Horseshit! You can break any socket, but the older Craftsmans were plenty tough. I've yanked them with a 4' breaker bar without a problem.rubato wrote:I do. I've split sockets down the side right where the 'point' of the opening is.* You know what a point is, don't you?

You're a good BS artist, ruby, but you fucked up: unlike you, I actually know something about welding!

Re: Teen gets Bum Rap....
Why weld when there is a lifetime replacement on the stuff. no receipt needed
And the last time I touched a welding rod to a socket (by accident) it kinda disintegrated (at least where I touched did). I believe the sockets are made/stamped from powdered metal which doesn't weld very good. Of course I could be mistaken, Jarl probably know more than I do.

Sockets are basically impossible to weld properly...even if you can weld it, it will break again because you will ruin the heat treatment.
