my wife has developed a new habit.... all kitchen cabinet and furniture drawers are not longer closed all the way after she's done with 'em. They are open half an inch to an inch. I have pointed this out to her. "Oh", she said.

Our cabinets and drawers have an "autoclose" feature. One only has to close them about halfway and they finish closing on their own. If we didn't have that my wife would be constantly yelling at me to close them.

It's widely accepted that cats were not ever actually domesticated by humans; they just decided on their own to become domesticated. I'm sure that that decision was at least partly motivated by the opportunity to knock things off of other things.
