my wife has developed a new habit.... all kitchen cabinet and furniture drawers are not longer closed all the way after she's done with 'em. They are open half an inch to an inch. I have pointed this out to her. "Oh", she said.

Nice one, LJ. And after I took so much trouble to clarify which 'drawers' were left open...

Look for hanging pictures to be slightly askew next. Then your glasses not being where you put them, but you find them in another place you often put them. All part of the gaslighting.

I remember seeing that play in .... 1957 or 1958. The Wickford Amateur Dramatic Society at the junior school. My auntie was in it - she must have been 18 or so. Of course, I remember that I saw it - not a thing about the play itself (although the movie keeps wanting to intrude)

Our cabinets and drawers have an "autoclose" feature. One only has to close them about halfway and they finish closing on their own. If we didn't have that my wife would be constantly yelling at me to close them.

How would my pants fit in a gravity free environment?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Maybe you could find out if you come to California where it is gravity free. I didn't realize there were states that charge you for it.

What did cats do to fulfill their need to knock things off of other things before they were domesticated?

They didn't knock over anything in the wild...

Knocking over things was a specific adaption that they developed in response to domestication...

Along with sitting in front of computer monitor screens... 8-)

It's widely accepted that cats were not ever actually domesticated by humans; they just decided on their own to become domesticated. I'm sure that that decision was at least partly motivated by the opportunity to knock things off of other things.
