Happy Birthday Monica!!

Pretty little girl with a blue dress on
Pretty little girl with a blue dress on
Pretty little girl with a blue dress on
Stole my mule and away she's gone.

Swing that girl with the blue dress on
Pretty little girl with a blue dress on
Pretty little girl with a blue dress on

Stole my mule and away she's gone.
Walked out that door in quiet shame
Got no one but myself to blame.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Happy Birthday Monica!!
I too often think about how differently my life has turned out, when compared to what I hoped and dreamed in my youth and early adulthood.
Lots of us have such feelings of 'WTF?" and regret in middle age; in my experience the folks who feel only contentment are lucky, few and far between . . . but imagine being someone like Monica Lewinsky?
Poor woman, her whole life high-jacked over a stupid youthful crush and sexual dalliance. I feel nothing but pity for her; I'm sure she wishes she could go back and erase that entire episode so she could have some chance at normalcy in her life.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
