I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

See the first one? A minor deity?by ex-khobar Andy » Sun Mar 20, 2016 6:38 pm
Ok I am going to have to give some hints.
The one about the minor deity might have been better phrased as a junior deity. As in Jr.
Did the earth move for thee? Robert Jordan and the guerilla fighter Maria, during the Spanish Civil War.
See the second one? Did the earth move for thee?
I don't recall Robert Jordan and Maria in Pride and Prejudice - but maybe you read it at Xmas after a bit too much eggnog?

I wondered when Das Boot would surface.
As far as Deity Jr. Is concerned, Econoline got it about eight posts ago. (Ducks in case I offended someone.)

Is it open to anyone to suggest new ones? How about:
