If this doesn't give it away...

Sounds a bundle of laughs. ;-)

That last quote jogged my memory...

I actually think I may have seen this one...

I think it was a movie with Meryl Streep and Shirley McLaine where they played mother and daughter, but I cannot for the life of me remember the title...

And indeed the answer is

Jim was right there, but not quite. I hope I didn't throw you off with my answer about shootouts. Because she did fire a gun at Dennis Quaid, but they were blanks.

OK, a new one:

Well, of course the only movie I'd seen of the last 3 weeks worth of entities would be answered in 3 minutes. The prior one that I'd seen (A clockwork orange) was answered in 19 minutes. Apparently I haven't seen enough obscure movies, as the ones that take days to answer generally I've never even HEARD of.

"Gumball Rally"

Loosely based on the "Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash" run by Car and Driver Magazine back in the day.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

You're gonna take the rap and play along. You're gonna make every exact move I tell you. If you don't, I'll kill you. And I'll promise you one thing: it won't be quick. I'll break you first. You won't be able to answer a telephone or open a door without thinking, 'This is it.' And it when it comes, it still won't be quick. And it won't be pretty. You can take your choice.

Jim.....that is one of my favorite Noirs.

Jane Greer plays an excellent femme fatale.

Michum great as always and don't want to take anything away from the Kirk Douglas character, either.

I think this is a pretty easy one:
I ain't your partner. I ain't your neighbor, your brother, or your friend. I'm your total stranger.
clue:

It ain't a chick flick.... 8-)
