While in the grocery store recently I was happy to see that they carry Kettle Potato Chips cooked in 100% olive oil and spiced with Himalayan Salt. I've been deprived of Himalayan salt for my whole life and now I find comfort and solace in knowing that it is nearby and readily available to me...

You hipster Joe! Why not stick with traditional crisp flavours?

Those all look fine but they're missing one important nutrient. How would I get my recommended dietary allowance of Himalayan Salt if I ate those chips?

Translation for our British speaking population: How would I get my recommended daily intake of Himalayan Salt if I ate those crisps?

I like the catch phrase "The Best Of British In A Bag."

Absolutely... that's where most of it is found.

Bob's your uncle.

when chatting with someone over a messaging service who is ESL and they send you some incomprehensible engrish what is the proper response?

I want to respond Que? But considering his native language is Spanish it probably wouldn't be helpful.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

We went out for Chinese food last night, and rather than getting a fortune in my fortune cookie, I got a passive/aggressive insult:

"You are always generous with your advice"....

In other words:

"You are always happy to tell other people what they should do"...

Not only is that insulting, but that cookie clearly doesn't know me at all.... :?

LOL

Oh man, Big RR, I wish I had thought of that...

Instead I read it aloud indignantly and she and Tati had a good laugh at my expense...

(Jimmy didn't understand what was so funny, so I explained to him that it meant I like to tell people what they should do, and he said, "That's right daddy you always tell me what to do"...I told him that was different; telling him what to do is my job... 8-) )

VERY old Dad joke; in fact, stand-up Jewish comic Alan King used that gag over 50 years ago as the title of his 1964 book, Help!  I'm a Prisoner in a Chinese Bakery.
