Do you remember what the little friendly yellow bird was?
You see!? This is how rumors get started! LOL!
That is indeed a Tawny Frogmouth! I had to be educated. -I guessed like most people would that he was an owl. And I am totally impressed that you knew that, Hen! Way Cool~
[He was also very friendly if not downright stoic... I think he is supposed to be nocturnal... ]
As far as the little yellow parrot, I don't know. Very sweet though.

You are most welcome, kristina. And thank you.
And to be completely honest I am bragging... a bit. Because unlike those lay-about Aussies [ ] whom take a paid holiday every two weeks; this was the vacation of a lifetime for us. So thanks for enjoying. Oh, I still owe you a pic of the finished Wabasha addition project. The Mississippi is flooding right now. But I will post it in the near future.
Peace.

Yes, oldr; they are called Leafy Sea Dragons. Masters of disguise. Pretty cool.
Ps: Lion fish are one of My favs also. Have you ever seen them eat a Goldfish? Thought not. Because they suck it in so fast that the human eye can't register it. Now you see it...Now you don't. *Gulp!* Way cool!

OY! Did you know that that homicidal KILLER Whale is still doing shows!?
Snuffs his own trainer, and all they can say is, 'Aw, poor beastie, he just needs a hug and a time out... The show must go on!
...think they introduce him with, "...And here's Tilikum! still on probation for his THIRD murder: don't get to close to the tank folks! You may get wet, or dead! heh-heh!
In other news: I Really enjoyed the report I had with this guy:
Indeed. Killer Whale food right there. Nom nom nom..
But ain't he cute!?
We both seemed to understand that we were in a thunderstorm. And lightning strikes and heavy down pour all day aside; fun was had by all.
Oh! And Did I mention that I love ALL critters? Even the Killers?
Because. That is the Nature of Life. At least with nature and the cycle of Life One can know what to expect with some degree of certainty. Everybody knows their place in the food chain. Eat and/or be eaten. Dog eat dog... So to speak. Humans otoh ...not so much. People will smile in your face and stab you in the back. Fuck that! Just eat me.
And be up front about it.
People Suck!@
Can't trust them.
Critters are cool.

My mum feeds many parrots and finches. But for some strange reason gets REALLY shitty when a bird of prey comes through and eats the over-fed parrots and finches.
I have told her that if she doesn't want the birds of prey, she needs to stop feeding the parrots and finches.
