Here are some of the pictures.
The on line gallery has all the photo's but due to overwhelming demand, it's busy right now.

OMG fantastic!!
I just looked at the sampling in the article & can't wait to get on the archives sometime soon. I wish my parents weren't such Luddites and had Internet; my dad would love these, as he grew up in NYC in the 30s, 40s & 50s.

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

I really want to thank you for posting that oldr....
What a treat....
I'd seen a few of the photos before, but that's a fantastic collection...I could get lost in that for hours....(I'll have to check out the link with the more extensive collection)
My personal favorites are the ones that really capture the ethnic vibrancy of early 20th Century New York.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

You are all welcome, glad to do it.
I like the guys standing on the suspension wires (no harnesses and in suits?) on the bridge. That would never happen now-a-days.
