Well, Ms. Broadmoor, a West Point Graduate, was by no means a "simple minded floozie"...

But being "experienced, confident, sexy, fabulous,".....[to borrow a phrase ;) ]

Is no certain inoculation against doing really stupid things...

Very intelligent, well read, very accomplished, well educated people.....

Can do very stupid things... 8-)

This is an excellent case in point... :?

I don't disagree at all. I do disagree with the earlier statement that implied that being a 40-something female was sufficient in and of itself to cause some type of mental instability/stupidity.

I don't blame you for taking umbrage at that...(It's simply not true)

As the David Petraeus sex scandal continues to ripple across Washington, the New York Times has identified the man at the centre of one of the story’s most bizarre aspects: Frederick W. Humphries is the FBI agent who sent a shirtless photo of himself to Jill Kelley.

Kelley, a volunteer social liaison with military families at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida, had contacted Humphries after receiving harassing emails from Paula Broadwell, warning her to “back off” and to “stay away from my guy” — ostensibly in reference to Petraeus. The complaint triggered the investigation that forced Petraeus to resign his post as CIA director.
Earlier, it was learned that sometime before this investigation, Humphries had sent Kelley photos of him shirtless. Over the summer, FBI executives told Humphries to steer clear of the developing Kelley case because they had concerns he had become too personally involved.

Kelley met Humphries when she attended the bureau’s Citizens’ Academy, an FBI program aimed at showing members of the public at least some of what the FBI does and how it works, Berger said.

The shirtless photo was part of a joke that’s been taken out of context, according to Berger.

“That picture was sent years before Ms. Kelley contacted him about this, and it was sent as part of a larger context of what I would call social relations in which the families would exchange numerous photos of each other,” he told the Times.

Two Four-Star Generals, and what I suspect to be a high ranking FBI agent. I wonder who else she has hypnotized with her exotic charms? Kelley is a "local" girl and the regional media have been interviewing people who knew her in high school. Both her and her sister apparently were high maintenance, gold diggers even back in '93. Snappin' gyro, for sure.

I thought we were talking about a particular individual. The effects of ageing effect different people people differently but 40 years is enough time off the clock to be significant.

Part of the diagnosis for gall stones is the 'four f's'; "fat, female, flatulent, and over forty".

Did I say that, or are you just hocking up a hairball?
